We've found that when installing crochet braids, there are four MAIN steps:

  • Soak
  • Prep
  • Braid Pattern
  • Install

1. Soak Your Crochet Braids Before Installing

Crochet braids are made from synthetic hair. Manufacturers create synthetic hair with an alkaline base that makes the hair long-lasting.⁣⁣ This base is why you are taking your braids out after two weeks! This base is what is causing your braids to itch.⁣⁣
⁣⁣
Here's the solution, soak your hair in Apple Cider Vinegar to remove this alkaline base.⁣⁣

Check out our tutorial here.

2. Prep Your Hair

Crochet braids are a 𝘱𝘳𝘰𝘵𝘦𝘤𝘵𝘪𝘷𝘦 style. ⁣⁣
⁣⁣
Protective styles protect your natural hair with a low-maintenance hairstyle that keeps your hair tucked away and moisturized.⁣⁣
